The Flow of Compassion
Often times, it’s hard to conceptualize compassion in our daily life. Perhaps you think of compassion as being nicer to yourself when you feel like you’ve made a mistake at work. Or, it may be something you show when you help out your neighbor who’s struggling to carry all of their bags to their car. Regardless of what memories or thoughts come to mind, it’s important that we are aware of the flow of compassion, as it helps to promote the flexibility and presence of compassion in our daily lives.
Compassion does not have to be a special act that occurs on rare occasions. Rather, it’s an idea of being aware of our connections with ourselves and others.
